John Morris - 2010 Olympic Gold Medalist
Mixed Doubles is one of the most exciting events I've ever played. Not only is it a blast socially but it takes a lot of athleticism and really rewards the all-around curlers as they are so many different aspects that are vital to success. I look forward to the day when mixed doubles is included in the Olympics and I will be competing with my favourite women curlers every year until then!'
Kaitlyn Lawes - 3rd for Jennifer Jones
"Mixed doubles is newer to most of us here in Canada, but it is being played on a regular basis over in Europe and around the world. Having had the opportunity to play the game, I am a huge supporter and fan of it!
Mixed doubles is a lot of fun to play. It incorporates all aspects of the regular game of curling that we are used to, but with a twist. It is a fast paced game, that involves a lot of athleticism, strategy, and communication. It is great for any level of curler and any age! Whether you are a bantam, junior, or a club curler, mixed doubles could be the game for you!"
