LEDUC CURLING CLUB (Leduc Recreation Centre)

Times
Approximate start and end times for each day are 9:00am - 9:00pm.  Daily schedules will be posted at camp.

Areas of Instruction
There are up to six levels of instruction.  Instruction will be based upon information given on the registration form.  Instruction emphasis will vary at each level including: video-analysis of delivery, sweeping, strategy, rules, sport psychology, mental preparation, game situations and fitness training.

Our team of instructors are headed up by Paul Webster, Alberta's High Performance Coach, National Coach for Canada & 2014 Olympic Team Leader along with Canadian, World and Olympic Champions: 2014 Olympic Gold Medalist - Ryan Fry; 2006 & 2007 World Junior Champions - Charley Thomas, JD Lind, Matt Ng, Kyle Reynolds; 2014 Senior World Champion - Mark Johnson; 2012 Canadian Junior Champions - Jocelyn Peterman, Brittany Tran, Becca Konschuh, Kristine Anderson; 2014 Canadian Womens Silver Medalists - Val Sweeting, Rachel Pidherny.  These are just a few of the great coaches that will be instructing at camp.

Accommodation, Meals & Transportation
There are both camping and hotel/motel facilities available in and around Leduc.  If participants are staying in hotels, they must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.   There is a Lions Campground next to the Curling Club.

Lunches, suppers and snacks are included in the registration fee.  Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from camp, although once at camp everything is within walking distance.

How to Register
Only registrations (postmarked√∑ ON or AFTER March 31, 2014 are accepted.  Registration is limited to the first 120 athletes per camp, however, the ACF will keep a waiting list. Early registration will prevent disappointment.  (Dropped off applications WILL NOT be accepted).  Post-dated cheques MUST be authorized.  NSF cheques will be subject to a $50 processing fee.

FIRST PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO RESIDE WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ACF.

** All cancellations will be assessed a processing fee of $40. Cancellations after July 1 - $100. Cancellations after August 1 will be partially reimbursed only if spot is filled.
